What is oil-canning?
Answer: Oil-canning is the irregular surface patter that appears on a broad, flat surface of the metal. It can be caused by several factors - a roof substrate that is not perfectly flat, contraction and expansion of the metal due to temperature changes, or the tightness and positioning of the fastening method. It does not negatively impact the performance of the metal. What Kind of maintenance does a metal roof need?
